A few words about the Company


NOVA Construction Company is a Design-Built team with over 23 years
experience and is known for its “Unique Buildings”, including a diverse portfolio of
projects throughout the San Diego area and abroad.

Their structures have been called ʻEvolutionary, Organic Buildingsʼ, by some
magazine critics. NOVA Construction Company has been feature in several
regional and nation-wide publications and has received numerous awards in
recognition of their work.

Among some of the most unique projects built within San Diego County are
“Essencia”, a multi-million Dollar residence located at the top of Hillside Drive in La
Jolla, “Legacy” an award wining residence for the Sycuan casino “Tour ʻDʼ Elegance”
Luxury Home Tour (which received the prestigious SAM award), “Prism” major
league San Diego Padres baseball player personal residence in La Jolla, and
“Energy” the latest member of an exceptional list of distinctive properties recently
completed in Rancho Del Rey.

The Team


Through their body of work, specifically developed in “High-End” residential
construction, which includes several award-winning buildings, they have learned that
the best and most efficient way to co-ordinate any development is through an
experienced “Team” of professionals.

Over the years they have established a great team of individuals that understand the
care and process needed to realize any project. All members have many years of
being in the business as part of NOVA Construction Company.

The team is led by Principals Francisco Mendiola, and Jess Gonzales. Their diverse
background allowed them the experience of building with several construction methods in
different countries throughout the years; thus provides an edge with their versatility to handle
any type of project in an Organic Vernacular.
